Survey & Feedback Platform
Feedback software for East African businesses — customer feedback collected the moment someone's already there, and internal team check-ins that show who's responded at a glance.
The Challenge
Businesses in East Africa had no real way to hear from their own customers systematically. The survey tools built for a large company's compliance department were the wrong shape entirely — too heavy, too expensive, and built around a workflow no smaller business actually has. What those businesses needed was simpler: put one question in front of a customer the moment they're already there — on a receipt, in a WhatsApp message, on a sign at the counter.
The same gap existed internally. Getting a quick answer from every branch or every shift — did the delivery go out, how did the shop do today — usually meant a WhatsApp group nobody reliably checked, with no way to see at a glance who still hadn't answered.
Our Approach
The first decision was making sure one business's data could never mix with another's. Each business's information is kept in its own completely separate space — not a shared system with a setting that tells them apart. There's no way for a mistake to show one customer's answers to another.
A survey question's type — short answer, multiple choice, a rating scale — is built as a real, specific thing rather than a generic field that gets interpreted on the fly. Skip logic (asking a follow-up only if someone answers a certain way) is built the same way: pick the question, pick the condition, done — something anyone can set up without needing to understand how it works underneath.
Answering is one question per screen, with nothing saved until there's an actual answer. Someone who opens a survey and closes the tab leaves no trace — which matters most when the survey is sitting inside someone else's web page and "an open" could mean every visitor to that page.
Once a question has been answered, editing the wording later can never rewrite what that person actually said — every answer keeps its own copy of exactly what was asked at the time.
Protecting the data from bad or automated submissions needed two different approaches. Obvious abuse — far more responses than any real person could submit — gets blocked outright. Anything merely suspicious gets held for a person to review rather than blocked, because wrongly turning away a real customer costs more than double-checking a fake one.
Every screen is checked against accessibility standards automatically, on every change, not just once at launch.
Built For The Details That Matter
Survey Builder
Seven question types, drag-and-drop ordering, and skip logic built from simple menus — no technical knowledge needed to set up.
Publishing & Embedding
A shareable link and QR code, or the exact same survey embedded directly inside another page — same data either way.
Internal Team Check-Ins
The same tool, turned inward — recurring questions sent to your own team, with a simple board showing who's answered and who hasn't, and the option to keep responses anonymous.
Submission Review
Suspicious responses are held for a person to review, never silently blocked — a real customer is never falsely turned away.
Analysis & Export
Clear summaries for every question, comparisons between any two questions, and a spreadsheet export — all showing the exact same numbers, so nothing disagrees with itself.
What It Connects To
Survey invitations and notifications, sent steadily rather than all at once
QR Code
Every published survey gets a scannable code for a counter or poster, alongside its link
The Impact
Businesses get a way to collect feedback continuously instead of running a one-off survey campaign — a link or embedded widget that's always there, rather than a form sent out once and forgotten.
Internally, team leads get a simple answer to "who still hasn't checked in today" instead of scrolling through a chat history, with the option to keep responses anonymous when that's what gets honest answers.
Because each business's data is kept completely separate, a mistake affecting one customer's data can't become a mistake affecting another's — it isn't possible to even write the kind of query that would cross that line.
Editing a live survey is safe. Fixing a typo or rewording a question never changes what a respondent already said, because every answer keeps its own record of what it was answering at the time.
Worth Asking Before You Call
Is our data kept separate from other businesses using this?
Yes — each business's data lives in its own separate space, not a shared system with a column keeping customers apart. There's no way for a query to accidentally cross that line.
Do our customers need to download anything to respond?
No — a link or a survey embedded on your own site, answered in a browser, one question per screen. Nothing to install.
Can this also be used for internal team check-ins, not just customer feedback?
Yes — the same tool works both ways. Internal check-ins have their own board showing who's responded, and can be kept anonymous.
Can we edit a survey after it's already collecting responses?
Yes — every answer keeps a record of the question as it was asked, so editing it later never changes what someone already said.
